Following the success of the Beast of Ballyhoura in 2007, 2008 and 2009 we are proud to announce that the Beast is back for 2010. Experience this unique 36+ hour non-stop adventure race, set in the ancient and magical countryside of north Cork, east Limerick and south Tipperary. Prepare to meet your demons – both real and imagined.
The Ballyhoura Blitz is also back offering challenging mountain running and biking across the Ballyhoura Forest.
The Beast of Ballyhoura will run continuously over 36+ hours for mixed teams of 4. Teams will experience one of Ireland’s highest mountain ranges ‘The Galty’s’ cycle miles of forest track, including the world class Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Trails, kayak along rivers flanked by mills and castles.
